CodeTrek Robotics brings hands-on coding programs to after-school clubs, recreation centers, and homeschool groups for kids ages 7–12 — taught by a veteran STEM educator who makes learning feel like an adventure, not a worksheet.
Kimberly Stewart is a STEM Teacher at Groton Middle School and an Adjunct Professor at Quinnipiac University, where she trains future educators in technology integration. She's spent her career building coding and robotics programs that get kids genuinely excited — not because it's required, but because the lesson connects to something they actually care about.
CodeTrek Robotics grew out of a simple observation: coding and robotics still aren't available in many Connecticut schools. CodeTrek brings that opportunity directly to after-school programs, recreation centers, and homeschool groups — starting with coding, with robotics kits joining the lineup soon.
Every CodeTrek program is hands-on and project-based — kids predict, build, and problem-solve, working from their own device with age-appropriate coding tools.
